Question #1. What global issues and crises (e.g., global warming, mass migration) can challenge an individual’s values and ethics? What forums can an individual use to help better understand how to think, feel, and act?
- I think all global issues and crises change an individual. I believe that the environment we are in affects us both consciously and subconsciously. An example of this can be poverty. One who suffers from poverty will probably be more grateful about things that they have in their life compared to people who aren’t impoverished and have these things already. I think individuals can better understand how to think, feel, and act about these global issues by researching them and being as informed as they possibly can. If you are an individual who is experiencing these issues I would try and find people to talk about these issues with.
Question #2. What gives you a sense of meaning and purpose in your life? Share what you can about what keeps you focused on achieving.
- What keeps me focused on achieving something is being able to push the limits of what I can do. Every time I accomplish something, I wasn’t sure I would be able in keeps me wanting to keep seeing what else I can do, this is how I stay focused.
Question #3. What can challenge your sense of connectedness to others or purposes? How do you protect yourself from doubt?
- I think what mainly challenges my sense of connectedness to others is mainly when I have different opinions or views on subject manners than the majority of people. Usually that puts into perspective that maybe I need to re-think how I feel and look into these manners more. I still haven’t quite figured out how to prot4ect myself from doubt. When I start to doubt myself it usually spirals to the point where I feel I don’t have the ability to complete or do something. In those times I just try my hardest to work through it.
