Question #1. What are some great ways to be active?

Being active is a combination of doing different activities. There are moderate forms of aerobic activity (walking, biking, heavy house work, fishing, hunting) and vigorous forms (playing sports, climbing stairs or going uphill, running, cycling). These should be balanced out with activity that focuses on muscle and balance building, such as weight lifting and dancing. One of my favorite ways to stay active is hiking, which combines all of the above types of activity over the span of a few hours to a whole day.

Question #2. How do you maintain an active lifestyle when you have so many other demands on your time?

I do not have an active lifestyle, to be blunt. Perhaps once a week, I will do yoga for 20 to 40 minutes. But this is rarer than I would like to admit. My excuse is that I am too busy and want to simply rest when I have free time. My commute does involve a lot of stairs in the subway, as well as plenty of fast walking. Hopefully this is redeeming for my lack of intentional physical activity.

Question #3. How do you find a balance between all of the things you are supposed to do to stay healthy?

I do not make too much of a conscious effort to keep a balance in doing all that I need to to stay healthy. However, it is prudent for me to choose appropriate bed times, healthy dietary options, and chastity. These things help me keep a healthy body and mind, as much as I can without much physical activity.
