Question #1:

Some great ways to be active is by doing a variation of exercises each week for a total of 3 hours and 45 minutes. These exercises should be a mix of aerobic physical activity, muscle training, and vigorous activities like running. Exercise doesn't necessarily mean going to the gym but it can be an activity that you enjoy such as dancing or playing sports.

Question # 2:

Maintaining an active lifestyle is not easy when you have a long commute and packed schedule. By the time I am done with student teaching, all I want to do is sleep. However, I push myself to take 30 minute brisk walks twice a week, aside from all the walking and climbing of stairs that I do for my commute. I also usually aim for strength training twice a week with 20 minutes of cardio at the gym. I do my best to keep active and moving but it is difficult now with my knee injury.

Question #3

Finding a balance is very difficult. What helps me is keeping a planner and schedule of what I need to do in a day. Sometimes it works and other times not so much. I try my best to eat healthy as well by making a healthy lunch. I am still working on finding a balance but the commute is very draining. I think it is great to be organized and focused in order to maintain the balance in making sure that everything is being taken care of.
