- I cannot recall a situation where I was depressed due to stress, usually, stress reacts the opposite way with me where I get very hyper-focused which happened during one of my AP exams in high school. I went the whole day on an adrenaline rush and when I crashed, I crashed hard. I had to call my mother and had to cry and take a break to feel better.
- I overcome sad thoughts by moving forward. Each day is a way to keep moving forward and it's best to leave the past in the past. I also put the day in perspective which helps me continue to move forward.
- I can be more present by truly looking at the options. These will help me plan for where I am going moving forward and allow me to continue to plan for my future. I need to plan my future by looking and reflecting on the past. To be present allows me to continue to have a future and not just reflect on the past.
