Question #1.
I've been in many situations where I have been affected by low brain function caused by stressed. What I do to snap out of it, is I take a break and step away from whatever I am doing. I find that changing environments even for a few minutes helps and it readjusts my mind. Stress can be very effective in making someone discouraged but it is important to find a way to break out of it.
Question #2. How have you overcome negative thoughts or pessimism?
As I mentioned above, stepping away from the situation that is causing stress is usual helpful for me. I think changing scenes or environments is very helpful. I take short breaks and remind myself that uncomfortable and stressful situations can help me grow. It is really difficult to break out of negative thoughts especially when things aren't going your way. Doing a variety of breath breaks also helps me, if not, I usually aim to go to the gym and sweat it off. I try to be optimistic but if I can't break out of it, I let myself stay in emotion and let it all out because I know it is temporary.
Question #3.
I think being present and intentional is a great thing. Being self-aware about your decisions is self-growth. Being more present means being conscious about what is going around your surroundings and how it affects you. It's also knowing that you have the power to change things that you do not like but also being able to walk away and accept things you cannot change. I think a great way to be more present is to take little decisions that helps you grow and become a better person.
